The Sweet Stop SSS152 meets CMC Spring Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone!! It has been a crazy busy week here I can't seem to get caught up. Please everyone be patient with me as I visit those of you who visit and have become new followers, I do appreciate you so much. The kids school activities and PTO have just eaten up my time but it needs to be about them first, always. So with my lack of time I combined my card for 2 challenges today. The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS152 and the new CMC Copic Challenge Spring Pretties.

How is this for spring? I just love these cute little ladybugs from Wee Stamps called Love Trip. The paper is from My Minds Eye called Bloom & Grow.

I did a little paper piecing on the balloon and just used inking and a cloud die to make the sky.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 151 Under My Umbrella

Happy Saturday!! Can you believe we are almost at the end of March already? Wow, Easter is just around the corner and then it is all down hill from there. This is going to be a super fast post tonight, I am so tired and would love to get to bed and catch up on a little sleep.
I have another fabulous The Sweet Stop Sketch to share with you along with a new line of digis I have been wanting to try out. This digi is from D'arcy's Diaries and is called Under My Umbrella. I just love the different style and detail of these stamps, I had to pick up a couple.

The paper is from Glitz called Laced with Grace. Instead of using the ribbon in the sketch I went with a little bling, it just stood out a bit more.

I just love her cute hair cut and funky fashion. In my eyes she is trying to beat the heat so I created a gravel path rather than puddles.

CMC 2nd Birthday Bash Blog Hop

For my card today I knew right away this crazy girl would be perfect for the party. She is called Party Hardy by Saturated Canary one of my all time favorite stamp lines, love coloring all that hair. I started off with the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC154 and used some fun papers from the Girls' Paperie.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 150

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Are you wearing your green? I will be making a yummy corned beef and cabbage today in the crock pot for the occasion. The girls are super excited because tonight the Girl Scouts are celebrating a 100 years and we are going to Build a Bear party.

I want to remind you about the CMC Classroom's 2nd Birthday Bash starting Monday the 19th. You DO NOT have to be enrolled in the classes to join in the fun. There will be a lot of prizes and the grand prize is a Vagabond Machine by Tim Holtz, how cool is that? The DT has a Blog Hop that you won't want to miss as well.
Now on to The Sweet Stop Sketch with a spin we want to see that green and that also means there s a prize up for grabs, woohoo!! I have to say I had a hard time with the green, only because I didn't have that much in my stash that coordinated but it all worked out.

I used one of my neglected rubber stamps from The Greeting Farm called Miss Anya Love and gave her a little Irish feel. The papers are some oldies Basic Grey Origin, I believe. The border punch is Martha Stewart and then I added my new Memory Box die at the top called Fauntleroy Crest that I picked up from SCACD.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 149

It s Saturday and that means it is time for another The Sweet Stop Sketch and a fast post for me. It has been a crazy tiring week and my words are getting all jumbled as I type this.
I used this weeks sketch SSS149 to create another birthday card but this time for a boy who is turning 6.

I really love this sketch so I bet you will see me using it again. I created the baseballs using the 1 1/4 circle punch red Copic and the multi-liner. I had bought some to put on it but it just didn't seem right not being hand made. The stamp is from Pink Cat Studio called Sporty Billy.

CMC Challenge Fuzzy Wuzzy

I decided to make a treat box for a dear friend who just happened to get not one but two new puppies. I used a new Copic technique I learned from Suzanne Dean CMC Copic Class 5 creating fur. You really need to try these on line classes, you learn so much and get feed back from Suzanne too:)

I have to apologize for the lack of details for this card, the house is under construction and I can't get to anything right now, I do know that this cute puppy is from Sweet n' Sassy called Puppy Love.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 148

Hello!! Did everyone have a good week? Mine was good but it went fast. I am hopefully going to be finishing the murals in my son's room this weekend so we can get ready for a tile install Monday..that will be madness with three kids and two dogs, yikes!!

It is time for another The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS148 . I made this for Riley's very best friend who will be celebrating her birthday next week and who happens to love Hello Kitty. The image is a free coloring page that I found on line. I tried to keep the coloring book feel in my coloring and used the bright girly papers from Doodlebug Designs. The Flowers are from C.C. Designs Five Point Flower and the ribbon is from the craft store.

Wryn Photo Tray Part 2

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good week. It is flying by here as always, so much to do and so little time. I have just a couple of things I wanted to remind you about.

*CMC Copic Challenge Group still has a few days left of the Bright Colors Lots of Laughs challenge and you can find all of the details here. There will be a new challenge starting Saturday.

As you may remember I am working on my Wryn Photo Tray for the CMC Copic Challenge group and here it is. I used Tiddly Inks Wryn Spring Bling along with the Prima Madeline paper (I hope it holds out to make 4 more). I have to say it is a little challenging working on a 4x6 area, not a lot of room for layers amd such.

The roses were made using MFT Dienamics Mini Rolled Roses, the swirl is from Sizzix and the Lacey Eyelet Border from Sweet 'n Sassy. The letters are from K&Company and I added a little sparkle to the flowers Wryn is holding using the Stardust Stickles.
