The Sweet Stop 175 Holly Wishes

How is everyone today? I am getting so tired of the 100 degree weather I decided I could at least dream of cooler temperatures by getting started on my Christmas cards. I just couldn't resist this sweet little fairy called Holly from Wee Stamps. I just love coloring these cute little faces, they just make me happy.   To start my card I used the latest sketch from The Sweet Stop SSS175.

I just love this paper from Echo Park called Season''s Greetings.  The holly embossing folder is from Sizzix  and both punches are by Martha Stewart.  I added a little Star Dust Stickles to the snow and wings.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 158

Happy Sweet Stop Saturday!! I had a super busy crafting week trying to get gifts made for 5 teachers and 4 office staff for Teacher Appreciation week.  It was a huge success though:) I will be posting what I made in just a bit.
This weeks sketch is such a fun one, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. I got to use one of my favorite  stamps from Wee Stamps called Dandelion Girl.  It reminds me of my baby Addison, she loves blowing "wish flowers" and now as a garden person I understand why my grandmother would cringe when I would blow them:)

 I tried a new hair combo which I am pretty happy with, it has just a touch more gold than my usual dark blonde combo.

The Sweet Stop SSS152 meets CMC Spring Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone!! It has been a crazy busy week here I can't seem to get caught up. Please everyone be patient with me as I visit those of you who visit and have become new followers, I do appreciate you so much.  The kids school activities and PTO have just eaten up my time but it needs to be about them first, always.  So with my lack of time I combined my card for 2 challenges today.  The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS152 and the new CMC Copic Challenge Spring Pretties.

I did a little paper piecing on the balloon and just used inking and a cloud die to make the sky.

Favorites of 2011 Part 2

Here we are New Year's Eve, I just can't believe it!!  So I have been thinking about things I want to do in the New Year with this blog and hobby.  I have a few tutorials to finish including a hair color reference chart and I want to take pictures and share a few organizing ideas.  I want to create just for fun and work on more projects a side from cards.  A resolution that I broke last year...use the digis and rubber that I already have.  Start a Facebook page... check (see my side bar I would love it if you "Like" my blog) and start an Etsy shop.  Last but not least spend more time visiting my Followers.  I love you guys and sometimes DT work can take so much time that I just can't make it to everyone's blog but I so love and appreciate all of you and the comments.

It is time for another fun sketch from The Sweet Stop.  We are revisiting some oldies but goodies this month.  I apologize for my short post but I am trying to get out the door to go camping so I will share more later.

I used another one of may favorite digis from Wee Stamps called Winter Fairy.  The paper is from last years My Minds Eye Signature Christmas, I love these colors and had to use them again.

Fairy Dreams

Hello everyone!! I want to first send prayers and hugs to all of you that may have been effected by the hurricane.  I hope this finds you and your families safe.
Today I have something wild and crazy to share with you...a card I made just for fun.   Having a little down time while the kids were in school was a nice time to craft and I saw a couple of challenges that inspired me so here it is.  How gorgeous is this stamp? As I have said before Wee Stamps are one of my favorites the detail and sweetness amazes me.  This digi is called Silver Fairy and you can find her HERE.

I love this paper from Prima called Madeline...my favorite colors.   I distressed the edges and added some pretty bling.  I colored the wings twice and popped them up with dimensionals I just couldn't get a sentiment to work so I decided I better just leave it alone.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 106

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I have been up late a  lot this week with crafting deadlines and a sick baby so I apologize but this is going to be a fast post.  I do want to say thank you for all of the nice comments and I will be visiting everyone's blogs as soon as I can.  If you would like more details just leave a comment and I can get back to you. I have to say, I am really happy with the way this card turned out.  I love this adorable new digi from Wee Stamps- Spring Bringer and the colors on the paper just seemed perfect for her. Happy Monday to everyone!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was really good. We celebrated my mom's birthday and had a wonderful picnic Saturday and a yummy steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse, love that place!! Now it is back to routine again.
I have a little news to share with you.  I am now a member of My Partner In Crafting Crime Design Team, woohoo!! I am so excited, I love their challenges and fun Interrogation Room and I am so happy to work with Jenny and Robin  not to mention the other wonderfully creative ladies on the team.  Sorry that was a bit long winded.  Now on to the challenge, we want to see those Buttons.  You must use three or more buttons on your project easy peasy.  Now I may have gotten a little excited with my buttons but I love these great big buttons, I think they are so fun.  I  have found another new love..these super adorable Wee Stamps and you can find them HERE I used Sweet Blossom., I just love her flowing hair!!
