Birthday Puppy

How was everyone's weekend?  It was great here busy as I said the other day but good none the less.  The greatest thing happened today....it wasn't hot.  There was a nice cool breeze and it is only going to be in the 80's all week. We went for a walk after dinner which we haven't been able to do since April, woo hoo!!

I made this card for my good friend's son who turned 2 this weekend, what a cutie he is.  I used this adorable little puppy stamp from C.C. Designs Pixie Pets Birthday Bash and the sentiment is from Amy R Birthday Sentiments.  This set is so perfect for little ones both boys and girls.  I actually stamped only the balloon from the bear stamp in the set. The card got touches of Stickles, Liquid Applique, Glossy Accents and dimensionals.

That is all for now, I really need to get to bed before all of the late nights catch up with me in a bad way.
Have a wonderful week!!

Birthday Princess

I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine has been really good and I am looking forward to a busy weekend full of soccer games, birthday parties and Cub Scouts.  I can't begin to imagine what it is going to be like when my 2 girls get older and into more activities, yikes.
I have a card to share with you that changed about a hundred times during the process, OK maybe not a hundred but you know what I mean.   When I first sat down to work with Birthday Princess Digi From Claudia and Company I started with pastel colors and then decided it would be fun to do something unexpected so here you have it.  I was inspired by the September Challenge at Claudia and Company which is to use"red" on your card( there is still time for you to enter BTW).

The Claudia and Company Digi Team has some new creations to get you inspired here and then you can stop by Die Cuts r Us to pick out your favorites and get crafting.    I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Grumpy Georgia Sweet November Digi Release Day

I have to tell you I just love this new digi from All That Scraps called Grumpy Georgia by Sweet November.  Now around my house my 2 1/2 year old immediately decided it was of her so she calls it "Grumpy Addi".  I must say the resemblance is striking at times.

I had to use her favorite colors pink and blue because she asked me to make it for her.  The paper is just so bright and cheery (Cosmo Crickets Delovely).  I used the sketch from the Sweet Shop SSS72 .  The sentiment was done on the computer, the flower is Prima and the ribbon was from my stash.  Now stop by the ATS Blog and see the rest of the wonderful creations by the ATS Digi Team and Sweet November Girls.
Have a wonderful day!!!  I can't wait to see what you create with these new digis.

Sweet November Sneak Peeks Meet Spindle Mossyrock

I am finally back with a card, woo hoo.  What a crazy week it has been with 2 sick kids, work outside of the house and late night crafting.  The only thing that keeps me from totally losing my mind these days is my crafting time.  I am sure all of you know how relaxing it can be, I lose track of time.

Today is sneak peek day at All That Scraps and the talented Amy Young has created 3 adorable Digis for her Sweet November line that will be released Monday the 13th. Stop by The ATS Blog and see all of the wonderful cards that the ATS Digi Team and Sweet November Girls have created for you.

When I made the card my idea was to make it look like Spindle Mossyrock was flying through the forest stirring up leaves.  I used the leaves from the C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Halloween Scene cut them out and attached them to my Sizzix Decorative Flourishes.

I am so ready for fall but here we are still in the upper 90's yikes, so for now I will make fall cards and just dream of cooler weather.  I was pretty happy with the way her skirt turned out to look like I turning leaf, here is a closer look.  It shimmers more in person, a photographer I am not.

I hope you enjoyed my shout out to fall.  I will have another sneak peek for you very soon so please stop back by.

My First Blog Award

I was honored to receive my very first blog award given to me by Martina.  You have to visit her blog, she truly enjoys making beautiful creations.  Thank you again!!

I am to pass this honor on to others which for me is a very hard decision because there are so many blogs I follow or just visit that are so wonderful.  Since I am fairly new to the blog world I decided to give the award to blogs that inspired me to create, learn from great tutorials or just gave me daily joy to read.  I guess you could say these are why I am here today.
These are a few of my new Favs:)

I promise I will be back with cards, I have them done and ready to post soon.  Life has taken over crafting these days, don't you just hate it when that happens?  Have a great day!!

Willow Kneeling

Happy Labor Day Weekend to everyone, I hope you are having fun or just relaxing.  I am sorry I have been  MIA this week.  I have been working on projects but I can't show you until later in the week:)

Today I used SFYTT for this week but I turned it sideways.  My image is Whiff of Joy Willow Kneeling.   I love the sketch and the papers that I used which are My Minds Eye Out and About Stack but for some reason my coloring was at it's worst (please don't hold it against me I will do better next time).  My DH said they can't all be your best but that is so hard to take sometimes.  The Flower brad is from SU, the die cuts are Sizzix, the image was colored in Copics.

That is it for today, I need to get back to some more projects.  Thanks for taking time to stop by, it means a lot to me.
