Merry Christmas Suzanne

Today is a special post for a very special lady Suzanne Dean our fearless leader at Color Me Creative.  The Design Team at CMC has arranged a special Christmas surprise filled with presents and cards to let Suzanne know how much we love and appreciate her.
I can't tell you how honored I am to be on the CMC team.  I honestly wouldn't be blogging if it wasn't for Suzanne, her wonderful blog and Color Me Creative Classroom.  I found Scrap Bitz by accident almost 3 years ago now and I not only became inspired by her cards and coloring but so enjoyed reading her posts about her crazy adventures and family.  So my card today is totally inspired by you Suzanne.  Not your traditional Christmas card but it is custom made for you:)

 

I hope you like it!!  Thank you so much for your inspiration and for taking such good care of us. You are a wonderful and caring person and I am so happy to be on this team with such an amazing group of ladies.

Willow Kneeling

Happy Labor Day Weekend to everyone, I hope you are having fun or just relaxing.  I am sorry I have been  MIA this week.  I have been working on projects but I can't show you until later in the week:)

Today I used SFYTT for this week but I turned it sideways.  My image is Whiff of Joy Willow Kneeling.   I love the sketch and the papers that I used which are My Minds Eye Out and About Stack but for some reason my coloring was at it's worst (please don't hold it against me I will do better next time).  My DH said they can't all be your best but that is so hard to take sometimes.  The Flower brad is from SU, the die cuts are Sizzix, the image was colored in Copics.

  This cozy little girl is from Whiff of Joy Lizzie with Muff,  I just love Elisabeth Bell designs.  I can't believe I am getting a jump on holiday cards, now if they actually get mailed it will be a miracle, hehe.

My daughter Riley who is 4 created this card "for everyone to see but she wants to keep it forever",lol.  She used Mermaid Emma on a Rock Digi from C.C.Designs (rock and tail pre-colored by mom:).  The layout was her own creation.
