The Sweet Stop Sketch 150

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Are you wearing your green? I will be making a yummy corned beef and cabbage today in the crock pot for the occasion.  The girls are super excited because tonight the Girl Scouts are celebrating a 100 years and we are going to Build a Bear party.
Ink Spots
I want to remind you about the CMC Classroom's 2nd Birthday Bash starting Monday the 19th.  You DO NOT have to be enrolled in the classes to join in the fun.  There will be a lot of prizes and the grand prize is a Vagabond Machine by Tim Holtz, how cool is that?  The DT has a Blog Hop that you won't want to miss as well.
Now on to  The Sweet Stop Sketch with a spin we want to see that green and that also means there s a prize up for grabs, woohoo!!  I have to say I had a hard time with the green, only because I didn't have that much in my stash that coordinated but it all worked out.

I used one of my neglected rubber stamps from The Greeting Farm called Miss Anya Love and gave her a little Irish feel.  The papers are some oldies Basic Grey Origin, I believe.  The border punch is Martha Stewart and then I added my new Memory Box die at the top called Fauntleroy Crest that I picked up from SCACD.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 143

Hi everyone!! Looks like we made it through another week.  I was hoping for a relaxing crafty one but after the 2 weeks of party planning but it wasn't meant to be...that not so fun thing called "work" got in the way:)  I did manage to get my project done for The Sweet Stop SSS143.  I found this clip board in the dollar section at Target and it just spoke to me and I wasn't in the mood to make a card so I used the sketch to create this.
The patterns were so bold and fun that I had to find a sassy stamp to go with them and in my stash I had this cute Greeting Farm stamp called Cheeky Chat and it just seemed perfect.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs Summer Sentiments.  Look at me coloring another blonde, unusual for me on girls since I tend to go with my daughters brunette hair colors. I have been having fun experimenting with the different colors though.

Love You Loads and Loads-The Sweet Stop Sketch 112

Hi everyone!! It has been the first week of summer vacation here and it has been basically adjusting to no school and swim lessons.  I am finding it hard to get cards made with everyone home and I lost my night time energy some where so if you find it please let me know:)  Here is my card for this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS112 and yes, I know I have done this color scheme before but I love this paper from My Mind's Eye called Hattie.
So next week me and my husband will be celebrating our anniversary and I spent forever trying to find a stamp for the occasion and couldn't find the right one.  So this is what I ended up with showing my domestic side:) I came up with the sentiment and just typed it up on the computer.  I kind of messed up the masculine theme with the flowers but I love it and I did use a button instead of a paper flower so I think that makes it better.
The stamp is from The Greeting Farm called Laundry.  I just love how her curls turned out, so fun to color.
Challenges
Now it is your turn to join in this weeks sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop and don't forget to take a look at the Sugar Babies gorgeous creations.  Have a great weekend!!

Dazzled By Edward

Happy TGIF to everyone!!  Today I have a card to show you that is near and dear to my heart since I am huge Twilight Fan.  I entered this one in the Club Anya And Friends Monday Mania Challenge which is to make a card  inspired by a book.

Flirty Edward

Flirty Edward is from The Greeting Farm this one was a limited addition Digi but you can now get it in rubber in their Roll Call Kit  HERE, it has a couple of other Twilight inspired characters along with some other cuties.  Unfortunatly his skin color photographed darker than it actually is, I guess I should have gone a shade lighter, oh well.

Edward would not be complete without shimmer so I added Candle Light Shimmerz, you can see it a little better in this shot.  I distressed all of the edges of the paper to go along with the "old" feel and then added the crystals which also have a grayish tent to go along with the theme.

This quote is one of my favorites from the book and I just printed it on the computer, I then distressed the edges and used Momento Tuxedo Black to bring it together.  I have to say I am really happy with the way this card came out.
