Happy Tuesday, not a very exciting day but I hope it turned out to be a good one for everyone.
I am trying to take part in some different challenges because I have oodles of wonderful stamps that need to be turned into something new, if only there were more hours in the day for me to craft...sigh.
Today I made a card for The Sugar Bowl Challenge #42 using Lilian's Sketch. I adore Sugar Nellie stamps and they have a new release right around the corner, I can't wait:). I wanted to do a fun and bright color combo so this paper from Lilly Bee's Hello Sunshine were perfect along with Gorjuss Girl Poppy Fields.
The Oh Alice Challenge Chapter 28 is to create a card for a "Little Girl" so this card works perfectly for that challenge as well.
Part of the Sugar Bowl Challenge was to add pearls, mission accomplished. The punch is Martha Stewart Double Loops, flowers are Prima and she was colored with Copics on my favorite paper Cryogen White.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and I will see you again soon.

Halloween Release Day at ATS
Happy Friday!! We made it through our first week of school, the days seem so long when you have to get up at 6:00 and we are definitly ready for the weekend.
Today is Halloween Digi Release day at All That Scraps, yippee!! As most of you know I am very new to the Blog world but it has been an amazing month and a half. C.C. Designs has been one of my very favorite stamp lines since I discovered the world outside of SU and I can't tell you how happy it makes me to be able to Design for ATS. I am meeting such wonderful people and enjoy making these projects to share with you. Ok enough chit chat for now lets talk about this cute Mad Scientist.
I used C.C. Designs Honey the Mad Scientist for the main image I then added the Eyeballs to her beakers (they come empty). I used the Empty Beaker and added the Skull to it then layered the Beaker and Eyeballs in front. That is one of the many great things about Digis, you can adjust size and do so much with them.
I did want to share a few tips when using digis. I personally have had no problem with ink smearing using Copics but it is always a good idea to let the printer ink dry really good or heat set. The one thing I did find that caused smearing is Glossy Accents. I added it to the eyeballs which looked great but it did smear so be careful ( I redid them). On the Halloween projects I worked with the images in Microsoft Word, here is a link with some great tips. I also use Adobe just depending on my mood but for the beginner, I would start with Word.
I added the glass beads to the beaker liquid to give it a bubbly look, these are just so fun. Now head on over to the ATS Blog to see the other great creations from the design team and the stop by the Store to get your Digis.

Halloween Digi Sneak Peeks at ATS
It is preview time over at the All That Scraps Blog and today the Digi Team is showcasing Gothic Girl and some fun Halloween Accessories from C.C. Designs. Isn't she cute in an eerie sort of way? These will be available on August 27th at the ATS Store.
It has been fun trying different ways to make cards and so today I used the Pop Up Tent Card.... HERE is a great tutorial. I am really happy with the way it turned out so I will definitely be making one again:) I used very thin wire and made a loop to dangle Gothic Girl from. Batty is popped up with dimensionals although you can't see it well in the pictures. It was a challenge for me not to shade her skin too much in order to keep the Goth look.
Details

Taylored Expressions Blast From The Past Blog Hop
Welcome to one of the stops on the Taylored Expressions Blast From the Past Blog Hop. Are you enjoying seeing all of the wonderful creations? It is always so much fun to get inspiration and ideas on how to use those stamp sets that possibly haven't seen ink in awhile.
I started by stamping the tree trunk and sentiment using a set from the Taylored Expressions Whimsical Wishes Collection called Branching Out. From there I used the 2 flowers from the Branching Out Coordinates and I stamped, colored, cut, stamped, colored and cut some more, (hehe) to create this flowering tree.
The colors in these papers from the Bo Bunny Mango Luau are so fun and bright, love them. I added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to the center of my die cut flowers( Cuttlebug Asterisks ) and also to a few flowers on the tree.
Card Details

Back to School Release Day at All That Scraps
It's Digi release day at All That Scraps and the theme is Back to School. These images from C.C. Designs are the perfect way to make those special gifts for teachers or students.
For my project I used Sugarplums School Emma Digi along with the Sugarplums Pencil Digi. I decided to alter a composition notebook to give to my son's new teacher. I started by drawing the apple for Emma to sit on and the "Class Notes" is computer generated. I really think I need to get a Cricuit or Slice but I am so not sure which way to go or even if I would use it enough, any advice out there?
I used the Fiskars ribbon punch to weave the ribbon so that I could adhere it to the book and still have it lay flat. The designer paper is from DCWV Grade School Stack and all of the ribbon is from the local craft store, the images were colored with Copics..
Now head on over to the All That Scraps Blog to see all of the wonderful creations that my fellow design team members have to show you.
Since I am giving this as a gift I am going to enter my notebook in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week.
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you again soon.

Back to School at ATS
If your kids haven't gone back to school yet ... it is right around the corner. Where did the summer go?
All That Scraps Blog is previewing the new Back to School Digis designed by Christine Wooden and are they ever cute.
I used Sugarplums School Emma with Pencil along with the Sugarplums Pencil Digi both from C.C. Designs. I drew the books that she is sitting on and then typed the titles on the computer. Emma is doubled up to give some dimension and I paper pieced her shirt and socks to go with the background paper from My Minds Eye..
The Digi Design Team has come up with some great projects to show you and you can find them here. All of the Back to School Digis will be released August 20th and I will have another project to share with you as well.
Have a wonderful day and try to find some time to get crafty:)

Heidi and Dots
Time flies after we finally get the kids to bed. I do my crafting after that and generally don't get to bed until 1:30-3:00 AM ,we will just say coffee is my best friend in the mornings. So, for that reason this will be a fast post. I have been wanting to enter a card in the new 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog and I am just barely making the deadline, woohoo.
The challenge is to use Pink and Dots, inspired by the 7 Kids logo. With my interpretation I took the dots all the way giving them a lot of dimension. I used Heidi Among the Flowers by C.C. Designs, she is so cute and worked perfect with the papers I used by Bo Bunny called Petal Pushers.
I have some new projects to show you later this week so I hope that you will stop back by. Have a wonderful week.

Pirate Penny.. Happy Birthday
Happy Friday the 13th and a Happy Birthday to my Dad. I wish we could be with you to celebrate.
I just found this great digital image from Sassy Studio Designs Pirate Penny, love her. My girls of course had to have the Little Honey's Fairytale Collection and had so much fun coloring them to make paper dolls. I kept the design simple but added distressing to the edges and every pirate has to have bling especially if they look like this, lol.
Details
Stamp- Sassy Studio Designs Pirate Penny
Paper- CS The Paper Studio, DP Basic Grey Eerie Collection(Pattern), We R Memory Keepers Boho Chic Fancy Free
Accessories- Copic, Distressing tool, Recollection Rhinestone Swirls
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I have a lot of projects to get done and looking forward to crafting with friends on Sunday.

Surfer Girl
Happy Weekend to everyone!! I hope you are enjoying the last few days before school starts back. I know I am going to miss having my little guy home and I am not ready to send him to first grade in two weeks. On the other hand I will have 2 days a week to craft in the daylight, woohoo!!
I made this book mark with the new Digi image Mermaid Emma With Starfish From C.C. Designs. The surf board was something I sketched out and the sentiment was just typed up on the Computer and then cut out with Spellbinders Label Trio. Emma was colored with Copics and she got a little Diamond Stickles added to her. The Cardstock is SU and the Designer Paper is DCWV Citrus Stack.
I am going to enter this bookmark in the Copic Creations Challenge #32 Summer Reading .
Hugs,

All That Scraps Mermaid Digi Release
Today we are celebrating the All That Scraps Mermaid Digi release. All of the adorable mermaid stamps are C.C. Designs by Christine Wooden. I love mermaids , and it is probably a good thing since my girls like to watch Barbie and a Mermaid Tale on a semi daily basis. I used Digi Mermaid Emma On Rocks along with the Sugarplums Underwater Adventure Rubber Set (fish, bubbles) and AmyR Stamps Underwater Sentiments.
I had so much fun making this project. I have wanted to make an Explosion Box ever since I saw how Suzanne Dean used acetate to give the "pop" up effect Here... very cute. You can find a great tutorial at Splitcoaststampers Here for the Explosion Box. I did however increase my size to 9" box.
This was the perfect way to create an underwater scene. I actually used a soda bottle that was cut into thin strips to give a nice strong spring and attached each end to opposite sides of the box. To make Emma stand up I used heavy duty sheet protectors and bent it in between the the 2 mermaid images.. One of the many great things about Digital stamps is that you can do a mirror image so it can be used on both sides.
Now head over to the All That Scraps Blog and see all of the wonderful projects that the Digi Team has made for you to get inspired.
Supplies
Stamps- Digi Mermaid Emma On Rocks,Sugarplums Underwater Adventure Rubber Set (fish, bubbles) and AmyR Stamps Underwater Sentiments.Ink- Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper- Cardstock is all Bazzill and the DP is Basic Grey Euphoria Collection
Accessories- Copics, Diamond Stickles, Fiskars Wave Punch, Spellbinders Large Circles, Sizzix Scribbles Swirl
Enjoy your weekend and I hope you find some time to be creative.

Candy, Candy, Candy
Sorry it has been a few days, I have been working behind the scenes on some projects for later this week that I can't wait to show you.
All That Scraps just had their August release so if you haven't yet please take a look Here. There are so many cute Halloween stamps you are going to love them.
This is C.C. Designs Sweet November Baby Trick or Treat Dragon. Amy Young designs the cutest stamps, they are always some of my very favorites. I used the Digi Version and it worked out great to size him down just a bit to fit my card plus I didn't have to wait for him to come in the mail.
My son had the cutest little dragon costume when he was two, the tail shook side to side when he walked it was adorable, this stamp takes me back.
The Cardstock is SU, the DP is SU Cast A Spell and the Candy paper is from The Paper Studio. The accessories I used are Large Circle Nesties, Diamond Stickles, buttons and twine from the local craft store.
I used this weeks sketch SFYTT by Jen Del Muro, give it a try for a chance to win a great prize.
