Fairy Dreams

Hello everyone!! I want to first send prayers and hugs to all of you that may have been effected by the hurricane.  I hope this finds you and your families safe.
Today I have something wild and crazy to share with you...a card I made just for fun.   Having a little down time while the kids were in school was a nice time to craft and I saw a couple of challenges that inspired me so here it is.  How gorgeous is this stamp? As I have said before Wee Stamps are one of my favorites the detail and sweetness amazes me.  This digi is called Silver Fairy and you can find her HERE.
I love this paper from Prima called Madeline...my favorite colors.   I distressed the edges and added some pretty bling.  I colored the wings twice and popped them up with dimensionals I just couldn't get a sentiment to work so I decided I better just leave it alone.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 123- Good Times

Woohoo it's Saturday!! I haven't been excited about Saturday all summer.  We all made it through the first week of school with tired but happy kids.  They love their teachers and my youngest loved having Mommy to herself and Mommy loved having alone time to craft, it was just what I needed:)
I had so much fun making this card for The Sweet Stop Sketch-SSS123.  I am totally in love with these new to me digi stamps from The Paper Shelter and I knew right away this Cool Waitress was the first one I wanted to used .  Makes me want to watch Grease.
My super talented team mates have some wonderful inspiration to share so I hope you will stop by and say "hi" and join us in the challenge.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 122 & ATS Naughty & Nice Digi Release

Happy Saturday!! It is our last couple of days of staying up late and sleeping in... I am going to need lots of coffee next week.  Today I have the other side of my door hanger to show you (see the below post for my naughty side).  I used this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS122 for my layout and it was a fun one to work with.  My image is the new C.C. Designs Angel Birgitta Digi and you can get her at All That Scraps.
This weeks sketch at The Sweet Stop has a twist which means there is a prize to be won.  We want to see you use those fibers on your project.  At 3:00 AM I liked my twisty twine detail but now, not so much...oh well.
As always The Sugar Babies have some fabulous cards to get you started on the sketch so please stop by and visit them.
The Sugar Babies
The sentiment was once a again done on the computer,  I cut the cloud out of felt and then added Polar White Flower Soft to give it a fluffy texture.  The  papers are some of my favorites Cosmo Cricket Delovely and that was the last of my stash.  The frame was cut out using the Cricut Spring Holiday Card Cartridge a little bling and Yellow Stickles and that is about it.

Have a great weekend and I will see you in a few days!!

All That Scraps Naughty or Nice Digi Preview

So how is everyone today? I am running around like a crazy person meeting all of the teachers and getting ready for school to start Monday.  I have mixed emotions right now, I don't think it is as hard with the second one going into Kinder because I know what to expect.
All That Scraps has four new digis & 2 sentiments being released tomorrow that can be used for Halloween or other occasions like I have done here.  Now my project is actually a double sided door hanger but you will have to check back tomorrow to see the other side:) I thought this would be cute to hang on the girl's bedroom door or maybe even Mommy's:)
This is Devil Birgitta by C.C. Designs very own Christine Wooden and tomorrow you can find her HERE.  I used my Cricut Spring Holiday Cards cartridge to cut out the frame.  The paper is some old SU Rockability that I have been hoarding.  I printed the sentiments on the computer and hand cut the flags and distressed the edges.  I colored Birgitta with Copics and drew the flames to set her on.  I finished it off with Twinery Twine which you can get at ATS.
The rest of the ATS Digi team has done a fabulous job with the new images and you can see them HERE.
Please stop by tomorrow so I can show you the back side of my door hanger.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 121/ Blog Candy Winners!!

I first want to apologize for missing last weeks sketch at The Sweet Stop.  I was having a loss of mojo or creativity and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't complete a card that I was happy with.  I took a couple days break and jumped back in and got my cards done for this week and am feeling a bit better.  Actually I have to say I kind of love my card this week but more about that in just a minute.
Thank you to all that entered my Blog Candy.  I am trying to make my way to all of my new followers blogs so please be patient with me my computer time has been so limited lately but I can't wait to meet new friends in blog land.  Now for the winners the Blog Candy Goes to Edel and the $25.00 Gift Certificate to All That Scraps goes to sparklingblackrose (Elaine). Congrats, please email me your information so I can get those things out to you.
And now my card for this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS121.
Isn't this just the cutest stamp?  I love it and it is brand new by Elisabeth Bell Called Secret Garden Peeker and it is available at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.  I had to splurge and get this entire collection.  I colored her with Copics and added a few doodles of rocks and grass along with clouds that I  sponged with my favorite sky color Twilight from CTMH....hummm I wonder if I like because of the name?:)  I did a little bit of paper piecing on her shoes and belt and distressed all of the edges.  The ribbon was actually all cream but I colored the center part with B95.  The flower was created using the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge on my Cricuit.  I cut them out on cream paper and then sketched the flower centers and edges with B95/B93 and colored the pearl with YG63.  The swirls are 2 different dies from Sizzix.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs HERE and I think that is about it.

Lunch Box Notes-Back to School Review at All That Scraps

Hello everyone!! It is the back to School countdown here at my house... only 9 more days to go "yikes" or is that "yippee"? I guess it depends on who you ask... LOL.  I am so happy I got all of the school shopping done about 2 or 3 weeks ago.  I am not usually that on top of things but it just seemed to easy to get it done and actually have a good selection.  Riley isn't going to be happy wearing, as she calls them "boring clothes".  It will be an adventure having her in school and I look forward to what the year holds.
Lunch Box Notes
I took several pictures of this set because there are several parts to it.  I started by making a double pocket card and used Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend papers along with my EK Success edge punch.  My stamps are all from C.C. Designs and you can find them Here at All That Scraps.  I used the Apple and Crayon Digi, Emma With Pencil Digi and the Read Sentiment is from the Back to School Set by Itzie Inkies .
I enlarged the crayon and removed the apple so Emma would have a nice place to sit.  I then decided to make some little cards to put inside my kids lunch boxes to brighten their day.  It use to make me so happy when my mom would put notes in my lunch box.  I added the sentiments in Word while I had my digis up so I could place them and get the size I wanted.  The apples got a nice coat of Glossy Accents to finish it off.
Challenges
I hope I have inspired you to make something special for Back To School.  The rest of the ATS Digi Team has been hard at work so stop by the ATS Blog and take a peek.

Halloween Digi Review With All That Scraps

Although it is suppose to be a 103 degrees here today with no sign of Fall, except for all the dead grass from the drought it is time to start thinking about getting ready for Halloween especially if you have a lot of treats to make for the kiddos.  Today we are reviewing all of the cute Halloween Digis from All That Scraps.  Today and tomorrow you can find some great inspiration from the Digi Team right HERE.

For my card today I used C.C. Designs Honey Witch Digi along with Bo Bunny Whoo-Ligans paper collection. The spider web is also from the same Bo Bunny collection, the swirls and spider brads are from Recollections.  I used The Deconstructed Sketch DS12 for the layout.
