SC337 Bluebird Song

Hello!! I hope everyone is having a great week.  Today I had a chance to play with the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers SC337 and Sweet 'n Sassy's very own Korin Sutherland is the sketch hostess this week.
I kept everything CAS for my card so that this beautiful image called Bluebird from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps would be the main focus.  Since I didn't add any embellishments I doubled up the wings and a few flowers to give it a little extra.

Let' s Get Tutti Fruitti with My Partner In Crafting Crime

Hello!! How was everyone's weekend? Nice and hot here but we actually didn't do much of anything except church this weekend..boring I guess you could say.  With it being summer we don't actually have to get everything done on the weekend if you know what I mean.
It is time for a new challenge at My Partner In Crafting Crime and the theme is
#29 Tutti Fruitti
We want to see fruit some where on  your creation.  With it being a 100 degrees here I think my card is very fitting or should I say refreshing.  Sorry I can be a goof ball sometimes:) I used a coat of Glossy Accents on the lemons and lemonade but it just didn't show up in the picture.

Love You Loads and Loads-The Sweet Stop Sketch 112

Hi everyone!! It has been the first week of summer vacation here and it has been basically adjusting to no school and swim lessons.  I am finding it hard to get cards made with everyone home and I lost my night time energy some where so if you find it please let me know:)  Here is my card for this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS112 and yes, I know I have done this color scheme before but I love this paper from My Mind's Eye called Hattie.
So next week me and my husband will be celebrating our anniversary and I spent forever trying to find a stamp for the occasion and couldn't find the right one.  So this is what I ended up with showing my domestic side:) I came up with the sentiment and just typed it up on the computer.  I kind of messed up the masculine theme with the flowers but I love it and I did use a button instead of a paper flower so I think that makes it better.
The stamp is from The Greeting Farm called Laundry.  I just love how her curls turned out, so fun to color.
Challenges
Now it is your turn to join in this weeks sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop and don't forget to take a look at the Sugar Babies gorgeous creations.  Have a great weekend!!

Rock On -ATS Digi Release Preview

Hi there!! Just a super quick post today to let you know about the new digi preview over at All That Scraps.  This release includes CC Designs Party Lady and Shopping Lady Digi Stamps created by Christine Wooden.  For my card today I used Shopping Lady.  I decided she needed to go out for a night on the town to a concert so I used DCWV paper Rockstar Stack.  I just had to add a few feathers and some bling to give the card a little funky edge.
The digis will be released on Friday June 10th at 12:00 PM est. at
Please stop by the ATS blog to see what the rest of the awesome digi team has to share with you.  Thank you so much for stopping by I appreciate it so much.

How is everyone doing? School is now out for summer,  I can't believe how fast the year has gone.  I am looking forward to fun times with the kiddos and then will dread seeing my Riley start Kindergarten. I used this weeks sketch at The Sweet Stop SSS111 and I hope you can join us this week as well.

What's Cookin With Cocoa?

Today I have a fun little gift set that I altered to share with you.  If  you have followed me for awhile you know I occasionally like to change things up from doing cards.  I think it is such a nice touch to make a personalized gift out of things that don't cost that much.

I found this cookbook at my local craft store and loved the pattern on it.  I then remembered the great cooking Digi's that Sweet 'n Sassy has to offer so I started by using Pie for Cocoa colored him with Copics and added some ribbon to the cook book, cute and simple.  I then used the Recipe Card Digital Stamp and  personalized the corners by adding Pie for Cocoa  along with one of the Kitchen Sentiments Digis.  These recipe cards are so versatile.. think of what a great gift idea these could be.

I thought this giant paper clip would make a great recipe card holder while you are cooking.  I am forever losing my recipe ... problem solved. Don't forget to laminate your stamped image for easy clean up. I used Chef Cocoa  and added the Kitchen Sentiment to the hat.  That is one of the many great things about digis, you can personalize items even more.
I hope you enjoyed my little project and I wish you a great weekend with time to craft.
