Teacher Gift Ideas

Wow, I have never gone so long without posting or visiting everyone.  The school year has been a crazy busy time and I took on way more than I should have.  I am missing my Copics so much!  I haven't given up crafting, it has just been done in other areas than cards.  I am going to share a few things that I have given as gifts over the past year.  I got a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and then put my own spin on things and a few were my own ideas. Just follow the link to see the pins and my boards. I hope you will find some inspiration and start visiting me again as I start adding new posts.
Most of the things I made I created just using Word and making quick and easy tags.  With three kids and so many great teachers and staff I had to start thinking thoughtful and easy.
 Happy Halloween
I made several of these for Halloween and they loved them!! Inexpensive because  I used the small bags and they went a long way.
Manly Bouquet
For this one I used the cinnamon rolls from Costco, small cellophane bags and tied them with raffia.  I wish I had a bigger label for the container but this was very last minute and had to work with what I had.
Wild About Learning
This idea was all me.  I found these great zebra items at Michaels and ran with it for an end of year
gift.
Mason Jar Flowers
I used the stamp set Poppies and Greetings from Sweet n' Sassy to create this flower vase.  A little burlap type ribbon hot glued to the jar made a cute presentation for the flowers.
Picture Perfect Year
Candy, Popcorn and a Movie Gift Card for the end of a great year.
Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you again soon!!

CMC Anything Goes-Thank You Teacher

Hey everyone!! I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day weekend.  Mine was special with breakfast in bed and a Galaxy 2 Tab, and so many wonderful cards and pictures from the kids. Time goes by so fast and I wish I could keep them young and innocent forever.
Today was my birthday and boy do the kids love birthdays.  Zebra stripes and pink were the colors this year, so cute!! Addison didn't go more than five minutes without saying "happy birthday" or "it's your birthday", she it such a sweetie.
It is time for a new challenge at CMC Copic Challenge, it started Saturday but I am a little behind.
This time is a super easy one Anything Goes and we are being sponsored by Some Odd Girl.  I decided to stick with the school theme because now I have to get gifts done for end of school.  This digi is actually a freebie by Whimsie Doodles called Pencil Pixie and you can get her HERE.
I tried a new hair technique that I learned in the CMC Class 5.  This was my very first attempt and I just ran with it, I could use a little more practice but over all I think she turned out pretty good.  There is going to be an awesome sale coming up on May 25th so it will be the perfect time to take those classes.

There She Goes Mother of All Blog Hops

Welcome to the 3rd annual Mother of All Blog Hops sponsored by There She Goes Clears Stamps!   Over the next two days, we (customers and trendsetters!) will be featuring some of our favorite There She Goes Clear Stamp sets!   Not only that, we’re going to give YOU a chance to win some fabulous prizes!
To find out how, please go to the There She Goes’ blog and read the simple instructions.
Today I am sharing with you some projects I made for Teacher Appreciation Week.  I used Believe In You to create several cute little gifts to hand out during the week, these would be great for end of the year too.  I found this great vase at the Dollar Store which happened to be the same as some I had from Pier One, what luck.  With the flowers this cost me $5.00 to make (the price of the stamps never counts,LOL).
Next I dressed up a little Tea light holder and added a fun little verse.  I used an LED candle so they could use it in the class.  The teachers went crazy over these!!
Next I made these for both the teachers and office staff.  With making your own verses it doesn't leave a lot of room for stamps but how perfectly this worked out!!  There are so many stamps in this set that work great on tags and you can find them HERE.
I hope I inspired you to make your own teacher gifts and to think of all the things you can use these wonderful stamps for aside from cards. I would love for you to become a Follower so you won't miss some more fun projects I will be sharing soon, along with how I used digis to paint a mural on my son's wall.
Enjoy the MOABH!!

Bath Treat

Hello peeps!! I meant to post this the other day but my mind isn't what it use to be. I blame the 3 kids sucking all of my brain cells out because I have found out they are too smart for their own good:)  Oh well better late than never I always say.
So I made these little babies for teacher's gifts for Valentine's Day.  I found the original idea on Pintrest and HERE is the link(side note: I went to Pintrest to link and just wasted 40 mins..LOL).  I tweaked mine a bit though.  I found this fun float cup at Hobby Lobby and used the light pink plastic party favor bag to hold these yummy smelling bath salts from Target.  I closed it up good folded the bag over the cup and taped on the scrubbie.  I couldn't find any bath oil beads so I just made a cherry on top with paper.  I came up with my own little verse to attach to the float.  Now I could have gotten fancier with them and next time I probably will but I did 4 of these in 45 minutes start to finish., yep that is how I do things:)

*Don't forget about the latest CMC Copic Challenge Bright Colors and Laughs.
That is it for now, I have lots of crafting to do tomorrow.  Have a great one!!
