 This cute image is called Harley and Haley.  I had fun with this color scheme it just seemed so bright and cheerful.  The ticket stamp is Whimsy Treasured Moments.  I used My Silhouette Cameo to cut out and create all the flowers and swirl.  I just love how the flowers turned out, they are so fun and different I do believe.  I will definitely be using my Cameo more.

Flying High

This has been such a sad week around the country and I just want to send my thoughts and prayers to those in Boston and now the horrible tragedy with the explosion here in Texas.

 For my card I used this cute image called Flying High Anna Belle by Tiddly Inks. I love that you can create your own scene with digis.  I cut out a new cloud template and sponged the sky.  The paper is Echo Park Happy Days and the sentiment is from Verve.

Make It Bloom at The Paper Shelter

Hello crafty friends!! Sorry it has been so long since my last post but life has gotten a little bit busy lately and I know you can all relate to that.
Today the fabulous "B" team is hosting a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and the theme is Make  It Bloom. Not only is there a new challenge but we are also celebrating hitting over 1000 followers at The Paper Shelter Blog so in addition to the $30 voucher for the winner who uses a TPS image; Veronica and Pedro are giving away a second $20 voucher to use in the store.  How great is that?
 There are so many adorable new images including this one called Freshly Harvested.

 I colored her with copics and used some old papers that I had in my stash.  The daisy dies are from My Favorite Things and the herb looking leaves, I cut out on my Silhouette Cameo (love that thing).  The seed packet is a a rubber stamp set from C.C. Designs called Woodland Logos.

Spring Swing -Doily Challenge at The Paper Shelter

It is time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and this week we want you to use at least one Doily on your project.  I was having a complete creative block this week and my card totally reflects that. Oh, well I guess we all have good and bad crafty days:)

Color My World

It is hard to believe that this is the last weekend in March not to mention Easter time already.  This year is just flying by already, crazy I tell ya.  Tomorrow will be filled with dying eggs, church in the evening and always fun with the kiddos.
It is time for a new challenge at the CMC Copic Challenge Group and this is one of my favorites.

I found this customizable album from American Crafts that holds 6x6 inserts so I thought I would use it to keep my cards in that I want to keep.  This image from Saturated Canary called Color Me Wonderful seemed like it would make the perfect cover photo paired with paper in my favorite colors.

I love coloring hair and I know I get in a habit of using the same old colors so for this one I decided to mix it up and add some fun pink streaks to her hair. The paper I used is Basic Grey Out of Print.  I doodled around the image using a Copic Multi Liner 0.1.

Spring Time Challenge at The Paper Shelter

It is beginning to feel a lot like spring here in South Texas...who am I kidding? It is already starting to feel like summer. It doesn't get very cold here so I appreciate every little bit that we have. In honor of the start of spring the new challenge at The Paper Shelter is to create a Spring Time card.  As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro from The Paper Shelter and they are offering you a fabulous prize of $30 to spend on their website if you use a Paper Shelter image or 3 digis if you use another.  Fabulous prize either way!! 

 My mom's birthday was yesterday so I made this card for her special day.  Last year I got her a shadow box that holds 4x6 pictures, I thought this would be a good way for her to display the cards I give her.  However, me working on such a small card area is always a bit of a challenge, I like a lot of space:)

 I used Spring In the Heart by TPS (I just think she is so sweet) and colored it with Copics.  I sponged the clouds using a cloud template I  drew and cut out.  The paper is My Minds Eye Dolled Up and the butterfly punch is Martha Stewart.
