Sweet Peeks Day 6 Patriotic Cocoa

Today I have another fun Sweet Peek to share with you from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The rest of the super talented SNS Design Divas have some amazing projects to share too so please stop by for a visit here.  This set is called Patriotic Cocoa.  It has super cute images and sentiments that can be used for any patriotic holiday or for those special soldiers serving our country.  As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to make an Explosion box to celebrate The Forth of July.
OK, here it goes... are you ready?? LOL

Surprise!!
My kids have been having so much fun opening the box again and again watching the stars spring out.  I found this fun springy tinsel at Hobby Lobby along with the stars and paper.  I used a plastic container that I have saved from some embossing folders and cut it out around the thick edges to hold Cocoa up.

My Partner In Crafting Crime #28 Uncolored Image

Happy Memorial Day!! Please don't faint this is my third post in a row with another tomorrow, I told you I have been busy.   Today is another fun challenge at My Partner In Crafting Crime the challenge is to keep those images UNCOLORED.  It was difficult for me but also a lot if fun to figure out how to make the image still pop.

I used one of my favorite new stamp sets from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called Shining Light, this is such a great and versatile set.  The paper is from DCWV called The Nantucket Stack.  I did a little paper piecing on the the light house and used the Labels 4 Spellbinders and some dimensionals to to give it a little extra.
I hope that you will play along with me and the rest of the PCC design team for your chance to win some free digis and to be our "Most Wanted" you can get all the details right Here.

Just Keep Swimming "Sweet Peeks"

I am so excited to show you my card today, I had a blast creating it and I hope you like it.  I got to use the new stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy called Happy Ocean Friends and it is part of the upcoming June release.
I started by creating this side step card using the tutorial on SCS.  I drew out the palm tree and colored the trunk with Copics. I layered and glued the leaves with my favorite Zip Dry glue .  These fun papers I used are from Echo Park called Summer days and you can find them Here.
I colored all of the little ocean creatures with more markers than I could keep up with and then doubled each of them up using my foam squares.  I used cork to create the little bit of sand under the tree and the wave punch is from Fiskars.

Now please stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy blog to see the wonderful creations from the Sweet 'n Sassy DT.  Have a wonderful day!!

Hawaiian Flower Gretel ATS Digi Release Preview

Hi everyone!! I hope everyone is having a great week.  Super busy here as always you will get to see several things I have been working on over the next several days, fingers crossed I can get it all done.  Today I have a preview of the new digi called Hawaiian Flower Gretel . This sweet girl is from C.C. Designs and is designed by Christine Wooden and it will be available Friday at All That Scraps.
I love this paper from SEI called Bright Blossoms and knew it would work out perfectly with Gretel.   I took my inspiration from the flower she is holding and sketched out the big flower and then outlined it with my Copic multi liner, colored, doubled it up and cut and bent the petals to make it look like she is sitting inside of the flower.
Here is a little better view of the dimension of the flower.  I just love her sweet face and long hair.
Copics

The rest of the talented All That Scraps Digi Team has some wonderful things to share with you at the ATS Blog so I hope you will stop by and visit.  Have a great day!!

The Sweet Stop Sketch 109

Happy Sweet Stop Saturday to you!! I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend planned.  It is time for me to play catch up on many projects coming up, yikes!! So here is my take on this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch 109 and this week there is a spin Make It Masculine, that means there is a prize to be won!!
I stuck to the sketch and kept everything simple so the focus would stay on the image.  This cute stamp is from Lili of the Valley called Lazy after Noon,  it and the sentiment can be found here.  I am so sorry but I didn't write down the Copics. The clouds were done with stencils I made and sponged with CTMH ink called Twilight.  The Paper is from DCWV Dots, Stripes and Plaids and All About Boys.
I am going to enter this one in LOTV Challenge #97 Here Comes Summer.

Now it is your turn to play at The Sweet Stop but first stop by and see the fabulous creations by the rest of the Sugar Babies.
