Wish List For Santa

Hi everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to a blessed week. I am loving all of these cute Rhubarb Teddy Bears that Korin has created.  Today I came up with an idea to send those special wishes to Santa using Rhubarb's Candycane Digital Stamp. 
 I started by making a Crisscross Card and used My Mind's Eye Wonderful Winter along with Bazzill cardstock.  For the insert I typed up the "Wish List" on my computer and cut it to fit.  This patterned paper was perfect to cut out the the trees and use them for a pull especially since I had three to send to Santa.  As the kids find things they want for Christmas we will add them to the list and be ready to go.  My kids were so excited when I showed them this and couldn't wait to get started... I just barely got the  pictures taken:)

The Sweet Stop Sketch 117

 Welcome to the weekend!! I am sorry I have been missing this week, so much going on here at home.  My husband had surgery on his shoulder on Tuesday and over all the surgery went well but there is a lot of recovery involved..poor guy.  I hate to see him hurt like that and learning to do this things with one arm is difficult.  I volunteered at Vacation Bible School this week and helped in the craft area, it was so much fun and I loved every minute of getting to work with the kids.  I will definitely do it again next year it is so rewarding.  As you might have noticed my Blog is getting a little make over... what do you think?  I think it is fun and a little bolder. The navigation bars aren't up yet hope to get those working early next week.

Yikes sorry that was a lot of information.  Now on to  The Sweet Stop Sketch 117 and this week there is a Spin... Christmas In July that means if you play a long there is a prize to be won.
 I never got a chance to use this stamp I got this past winter from Sweet November Stamps called Neva, isn't she cute? The paper is My Minds Eye Signature Christmas Stack.  I just love this color combo, one of my favorites for sure.  I stamped "Let It Snow" but it is kind of hard to see because of the snow glitter.. I guess it works with the theme.  The gems are from Recollection and I added a little distressing and Diamond Stickles for some glimmer.

One Year Blog Candy

I can't believe it.... I have been Blogging for One Year today!! I am so happy that I started this Blog and have had the chance to meet and be inspired by so many; I hope I have done the same for others.  I have had the honor to be on five wonderful design teams and I owe a huge "Thank You" to Christine Wooden from C.C. Designs and All That Scraps for taking a chance on me and giving my first DT position.   I can't tell you how much I love the teams I am on.  Thank you to Korin from Sweet 'n Sassy who has given me the privilege of being a Sugar Baby & SNS Design Diva it means so much.
Over the next year I want to start sharing some tutorials, storage ideas and just start working on some crafting goals I have and I look forward to meeting more new friends around the world.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 116-Take Me Away

Hi crafty friends!! We have made it to another weekend.  I wish I could figure out why time seems to be going by so fast, there has to be a good reason right? So today I wish I could put myself in this card... I would love to find time to take a long relaxing bubble bath..sigh:)
Take Me Away
I started by using this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS116 and my image is from Tiddly Inks called Take Me Away.  I added the floor with my Copic Multiliner and Copics.  My girls said she is Rapunzel and I should have colored her hair more Blonde, LOL.  Tangled is a favorite around my house these days. I highlighted the bubbles and then added a coat of Stardust Stickles for a little bubbly shimmer.

Follow Your Dreams Froggie -ATS Digi Preview

Hi everyone!! Hope your week is going well.  I am trying to get ahead of things since next week is going to be a bit crazy for me.  I am going to be helping out with Vacation Bible School and my husband is going to be having surgery on his shoulder on Tuesday.  I hate for him to go through that but he is in so much pain right now it is definitly the best thing.  Another thing happening on Tuesday is my One Year Blogoversary and that means my First Candy as well.  It is very important to me that those of you who have followed me over the past year have a good chance to win so I am giving away a prize that will go to the Followers I have before the 12th only and then a second open to new and old friends....stay tuned:)
Today All That Scraps has a fun Digi that will be released tomorrow Friday July 8th.  Say hello to Froggie Balloon Digi by Christine Wooden.  I started by using July's Sketch For You To Try.  The paper is Echo Park Summer Days and the clouds were cut out by hand on a glittery piece of felt. One day I will buy a cloud die cut:) The sentiment is from C.C. Designs Amy R Sentiments Magical Wishes.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 115

Happy 4th of July weekend to everyone here in the states.  We don't really have any big plans other than maybe a cook out.  It has been so hot and dry here in Texas that there won't be any fireworks displays this year in our area at least...poor kids are little bummed about that.   This week at The Sweet Stop we have a new sketch and also two new Sugar Babies please stop by the blog and welcome Shannon and Cathy.  Sadly Denise and Dawn are leaving us and they will be truly missed but please don't forget to continue to visit them...hugs to you both.
I used Patriotic Cocoa by Sweet n' Sassy for my card and the paper is Creative Imaginations and as always I colored it with Copics.
