Monster Fun and Bright Colors at CMC

Hi!! I think this may have been the longest I have gone without a post.  I had to take a little break because life has been a crazy adventure lately.  My middle girl Riley who is often my guest designer broke her foot.  She is an amazing little trooper and always in good spirits which can be hard when you are 6 years old and unable to do much. Then this week my laptop's hard drive decided to crash.    It makes me very upset because it was only a year and half old and the one time I don't get the extended warranty...aaarrrggghh!!!  Luckily, I think we got everything backed up*fingers crossed* and I am getting use to my new one. It is going to take awhile to get everything loaded and back but I am thankful my hubby was able to get me a new one. Enough of all that for now, I have more to share but I will save that for next time.
Today there s a new challenge up at the Color Me Creative Classroom and it is all about using bright fun colors.
 CMC Copic Challenge
#53 Use Bright Fun Colors
Challenge runs Until October 12th
We want to see you use YOUR COPICS, ProMarkers, other alcohol markers or Colored Pencils!!
Our sponsor is Susana's Custom Art and Card Design and the design team got the chance to use these fun little monster stamps and this one is called Monster Mash.
I felt like making a little door hanger along with my favorite bright lime and pink/melon color combo.  This color of green just screamed monster to me.  I tried to give her a little bit of a textured look and then added a dotted background to carry on the circle theme.
 Copics
YG25, YG23, YG00/RV14, RV13, RV10

(I hope a door hanger is ok)
Don't forget to stop by and see what the rest of the CMC design team has created this week.
Have a great weekend I will be back soon to share a few new projects with you that I haven't had time to post.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 122 & ATS Naughty & Nice Digi Release

Happy Saturday!! It is our last couple of days of staying up late and sleeping in... I am going to need lots of coffee next week.  Today I have the other side of my door hanger to show you (see the below post for my naughty side).  I used this weeks The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS122 for my layout and it was a fun one to work with.  My image is the new C.C. Designs Angel Birgitta Digi and you can get her at All That Scraps.
This weeks sketch at The Sweet Stop has a twist which means there is a prize to be won.  We want to see you use those fibers on your project.  At 3:00 AM I liked my twisty twine detail but now, not so much...oh well.
As always The Sugar Babies have some fabulous cards to get you started on the sketch so please stop by and visit them.

The sentiment was once a again done on the computer,  I cut the cloud out of felt and then added Polar White Flower Soft to give it a fluffy texture.  The  papers are some of my favorites Cosmo Cricket Delovely and that was the last of my stash.  The frame was cut out using the Cricut Spring Holiday Card Cartridge a little bling and Yellow Stickles and that is about it.

Have a great weekend and I will see you in a few days!!

All That Scraps Naughty or Nice Digi Preview

So how is everyone today? I am running around like a crazy person meeting all of the teachers and getting ready for school to start Monday.  I have mixed emotions right now, I don't think it is as hard with the second one going into Kinder because I know what to expect.
All That Scraps has four new digis & 2 sentiments being released tomorrow that can be used for Halloween or other occasions like I have done here.  Now my project is actually a double sided door hanger but you will have to check back tomorrow to see the other side:) I thought this would be cute to hang on the girl's bedroom door or maybe even Mommy's:)
This is Devil Birgitta by C.C. Designs very own Christine Wooden and tomorrow you can find her HERE.  I used my Cricut Spring Holiday Cards cartridge to cut out the frame.  The paper is some old SU Rockability that I have been hoarding.  I printed the sentiments on the computer and hand cut the flags and distressed the edges.  I colored Birgitta with Copics and drew the flames to set her on.  I finished it off with Twinery Twine which you can get at ATS.
The rest of the ATS Digi team has done a fabulous job with the new images and you can see them HERE.
Please stop by tomorrow so I can show you the back side of my door hanger.
