CMC Summer Blog Hop


Welcome to a special Color Me Creative Challenge Blog Hop! The Design Team has put together some fabulous creations using Saturated Canary’s digital images to kick-start the CMC Summer Sale! Starting May 25th thru August 24th all CMC Classes will be on sale and bundled classes will be on special too...see the CMC Classroom for more details! It’s a fabulous time to take advantage of classes and once you sign up you get a full year in each of the classes you register for...but you can also buy them now and SAVE them to start this fall...your 1 year term does not start until you sign into a class.

I decided to embrace the Summer theme by honoring two of my favorite summer things....flip flops and my kids at the beach.  An extra bonus our sponsor is my absolute favorite line of stamps, Saturated Canary by Krista Smith. This sweetie is called Beach Baby.

 
The challenge this week at CMC is to use the colors bright pink and green, love this combo.  I found this notebook in the $1.00 section at Michael's and used The Cutting Cafe's Summer SVG files to create the cutouts.  I wasn't happy with the patterned paper I had for the umbrella so I cut it out on my Cryogen and used my Copic multi liner to sketch one out and colored it up.  A little Stickles and bling finishes it off.

    Super gorgeous, Shelby... FANTABULOUS colouring. I love Saturated Canary images too, I'm still looking for the 30 hour day to get enough time to do all the crafting I'd like, lol. Love your "flip flops" they're called "thongs" in Australia... you can imagine the confusion that causes for international visitors ;-0 Thanks for sharing your lovely work, Donna ☺

    Being a girl who LOVES the Beach, this image is by far one of my favorites from Saturated Canary and I just bought it for my collection today!!
