Happy Saturday to everyone!! I am sorry I haven't had anything to share this week but I have had a couple of sick kids and a super busy week with school home work and projects. I did manage to get my card done for
The Sweet Stop Sketch. This week there is a spin,
Winged Things which also means a prize to be won. I love this sketch and I must say, I am pretty happy with my card as well. The style is different for me but it has one of my favorite things, butterflies. I have been waiting for the right project to use this paper from DCWV Mariposa stack. I bet I took 50 photos and couldn't get the back layer to show up well, it is so much prettier in person. I used this fabulous digi set from
Sweet 'n Sassy called New Creature and you can find it
HERE.
I colored the butterflies twice to make them look more realistic and give some dimension. The edges were distressed and I then added Walnut Stain Distress Ink over them. The punch is from EK success and the leaf branch and circles are from Recollections.
