The Sweet Stop Sketch 156

Happy Saturday!! I hope everyone has a great day and lots of fun planned. It was an interesting week with Riley coming home from school learning and spelling her first bad word the "B" word as she says.  It is so frustrating when you go eight years keeping them from being exposed to that and then poof it's gone.  Not to mention the fact that I can't believe that parents would let their Kinder girl be exposed to that.  Is it really necessary to talk like that?  I think not...sorry I had to vent a bit.

*CMC Copic Challenge Group has a new challenge starting today so hop on over and check it out. The theme this time is Celebrations. I will have another card to share with you in a day or two but you can see it there now.  Summer is a great time to take those Copic classes on line in the nice cool AC:)
*This is the last week for The Sweet Stop three year anniversary celebration so that means another gift certificate to be won from Sweet 'n Sassy.
So this week is another choose a Sweet Stop sketch from the past and I used SSS121 to work om my Wryn photo tray.  I will say one thing, I love how the tray is coming out but working on a 4x6 area is very hard to get layers and a big enough image to color detail on.

The Sweet Stop Sketch 155

Did everyone have a good weekend? Have you  noticed a princess theme the past couple of weeks? There has been a lot of birthdays and The Paper Shelter images have just been perfect for the occasions. I am brain storming gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week and hope to start sharing those with you soon.
We are still celebrating 3 years of wonderful sketches at The Sweet Stop so use your favorite sketch from the past or follow one that myself or the other DT members have chosen.  Oh, and don't forget there is a prize be won again this week from Sweet 'n Sassy.

So how adorable is this Spring Princess from The Paper Shelter? I just love her hair and sweet eyes. The girls have decided she is Sleeping Beauty.  The scroll is another Memory Box die called Elegant Scroll Work and I added a little princess bling.  I wish I could have gotten it to show up better in the picture but I used a combination of RVooo and BG000 to create a watercolor background.

The Sweet Stop Turns 3 Week Two

Hey everyone!! It was another crazy week but what is new? I have been doing a lot of thinking and brainstorming about cards and my blog and changes I want to make.  I really think you can get in a rut sometimes and need to freshen things up. I don't want to get into too much detail now but I am excited about the prospects....it is just making it happen.
As you may remember I told you last week that The Sweet Stop is celebrating 3 years of sketches so every week in the month of April you can use a favorite sketch from the past for a chance to win a gift certificate from Sweet 'n Sassy.
Now my card this week is my own interpretation of SSS100 ( I kind of left off one of the panels...oops).  This cute digi is from the Paper Shelter called a Smart Snow White , I just LOVE these stamps.  So many cute stamps and so little time to color:)

The Sweet Stop Turns Three

Happy Easter crafting friends!!  I am sorry this post is late getting up but to be honest I have had such a fun and busy weekend I completely forgot that I had not posted it.  Friday me and the girls went to see Disney on Ice and last night we went to church and had a cook out with friends.  After we ate we had a night time Easter egg hunt.  The kids had a blast!! I found the idea on Pinterest you use the glow stick bracelets and put them inside the plastic eggs.  Easy to find but a blast none the less.
It is time for another challenge this week at The Sweet Stop and we are celebrating three wonderful years that Korin has been creating sketches for us.
Every week you will have the chance to win a $15.00 gift certificate to Sweet 'n Sassy stamps along with the chance to be in the spotlight.  The fun twist this month is you can use a past sketch that one of the DT has used or any past sketch that may be your favorite (just make a note in your post which one you used).

For my card today I used one of my favorite bunny images from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this is Benjamin Bunny digi, isn't he cute?  Sentiment is also from Sweet 'n Sassy- Many Thanks Clear Set, this is a must have for your collection.  I love clear stamps for sentiments and these stamp perfectly every time.
